Album now available – Webster

SFP-cd-launch

We’re very pleased to announce Webster, our new album for 2015.

A labour of love that we've worked on over the last year, it's a collection of music from across Europe and beyond. It encompasses tunes that influenced and were influenced by virtuoso jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt, violinist Stéphane Grappelli, and the various guises of their Quintette du Hot Club de France.

You'll find original arrangements of some familiar tunes, but also we hope that you'll be introduced to some lesser-known composers – right the way from 1924 to the present day. And for Django fans, there are some real treats in there too!

We were very fortunate to be joined by our good friend Mirek Salmon, as guest accordionist on ‘Si Tu Vois Ma Mère’, 'Extasé (Ecstasy) Tango', and ‘La Partida’. Follow him on twitter at @accordionmirek.

You can get your copy of Webster online at our Bandcamp store. Available in two flavours – good old CD or new fangled digital download, in mp3, CD-quality audio or any format you could possibly desire. Or just listen online for free! Buy online here.

Thank you for all your support, and we hope you enjoy the album.
